On December 23, 2021 (86 FR 72990), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) published a notice in the federal register inviting public to comment on one currently approved Information Collection Request (ICR), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number 1652–0051, abstracted below that we will submit to OMB for an extension in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA). The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. The collection involves the submission of contact information of security coordinators (SCs) and alternate SCs from certain freight rail and passenger rail entities; reporting of significant security concerns; documenting the transfer of custody and control of certain hazardous materials rail cars; and providing location and shipping information for certain hazardous materials rail cars. Send your comments by February 22, 2022.
