On November 24, 2017 (82 FR 55790), the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) published a notice in the federal register extending the public comment period until December 18, 2017 to allow more time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments on the federal register published October 17, 2017 (82 FR 48283) requesting comments on the draft regulatory analysis, “Draft Regulatory Analysis for Final Rule: Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal,” and seeking specific cost and benefit information to better inform the updated draft regulatory analysis.
