On March 28, 2023 (88 FR 18371), the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) published a Notice in the Federal Register (FR) inviting the public to comment on issues or topics the DOT should consider as it updates the DOT Public Access Plan in response to new White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) guidance. DOT first published its “Plan to Increase Public Access to the Results of FederallyFunded Scientific Research, Version 1.1” on December 16, 2015. DOT will draft a version 2 of its Public Access Plan based on public feedback, especially answers received to 8 questions outlined in this notice. Comments are requested by May 10, 2023
