On October 04, 2019 (84 FR 53066), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Environmental Management published a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) in the federal register proposing to establish a fee for long-term management and storage of elemental mercury in accordance with the Mercury Export Ban Act. DOE invites all interested parties to submit in writing by October 25, 2019 comments and information regarding this proposed rule.
