On October 01, 2012 (77 FR 59768), the Department of Homeland Security, Coast Guard (DHS CG) published a final rule to make technical corrections throughout Titles 46 CFR & 49 CFR. This ruling will make conforming amendments and technical corrections to the Coast Guard shipping and transportation regulations and will have no substantive effect on the regulated public. These changes are provided to coincide with the annual re-codification of Titles 46 and 49 on October 1, 2012. This final rule is effective October 1, 2012.
